Sand Drag Kuwait 2013

Kuwait Quarter Mile Club conducted a Sand Drag race last February 16 2013.  My schedule was a bit tight, however I still decided to visit the race track with my friend Sandeep.

Basing on the race condition, i decided to capture all the shots using panning technique. Thank God i got a very good result with the powered trucks.

From a spectator's point of view, the event was good because they have arranged a special pavilion for watching. It was perfectly positioned so that everyone can watch the show with out any obstructions.
I've seen a lot of muscle cars, modified with balloon tire, special stiffeners etc... It was an awesome view to see such special cars!

Red Bull X-Fighters Jams Kuwait 2013

Four International riders rock the place and produce a jaw-dropping show full of big air-tricks executed with scientific precision in front of Kuwait towers. The show started around 7:45 PM with a heavy crowd. All excited to witness an awesome show from the riders.

The event is sponsored by Nissan/Al-Babtain and hosted by Kuwait Quarter Mile Club.

The show was pretty awesome, However, we are not able to capture  and sad comments from photographers because of bad lighting. and the place they conduct the show, was not that much wide to locate the precision. because of trees and crowd. still some of them did very nice shots. about the show it was the first i have seen these kind of thing in my life. still from several faulty images i have chosen some of them good.really appreciate KMRC & red bull to conduct such a show.

Dr.Salim ali Bird sanctuary

The Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary (also commonly known as The Thattekad Sanctuary)
is located in the Kothamangalam Taluk of Ernakulam district on the northern bank of the Periyar river. Location The sanctuary was notified in 1983 based on a recommendation made by Dr. Salim Ali many years previously.
Ali described Thattekad in the 1930's as the richest bird habitat in peninsular India, comparable only with the eastern Himalayas.
Travel route Since then much of the forest has been diverted to cultivation and teak and mahogany plantation but what survives gives a glimpse of the phenomenal bird diversity of the once widespread lowland forests of Kerala.
