Blue Water Beach in kuwait.- Julai'a

 During the Eid holidays me and some of my family friends went to Julai'a resorts area. i have visited several places in Kuwait for photography and for holidays joy. spent some enjoyable time with my friends, in beach.. parks, gardens etc. in julaia there is a beach area, this is one of my favorite beach in Kuwait. i am not sure how long it will exists because if some Kuwaiti buy or rent the beach front, it will end up. its quite far from the Kuwait city area but most of the cases i prefer to visit this beach with my family & friends. that is because there is no so crowd and also calm and quite atmosphere.

the specialty and the attractive side of this beach is a large seascape view with sugar sand and crystal clear water lets say blue water and shallow depth sea around 200 m we can just walk in to the water. of course there is no rock to hurt our legs and we can see through the water. its quiet awesome here. the visitors coming here for mostly for sunbath or tanning..

This place is just close to seashell resort in Julai'a.. i think just besides seashell. while we passing through the car we can never believe a beach like this existing here.in my experience i have visited here more than fifteen times with family and friends. one and only problem for bachelors, i have seen a board nearby here ""Bachelors are not Allowed.", but some of them already breaking the rules :P.. if somebody planning to visit here, do at day time, or keep a nice lantern with the other equipments, because, at night here will be so dark. there is no street lights or any.

Nicely enjoyed that day also ..same like all the Julai'a trip... it gives happiness and refreshments for the crowded mind...

The bad side.

I am so sorry and sad to share this with my readers, the beach seashore, is highly polluted with plastic bags and bottles. and there is no control of throwing these kind of stuffs.

Also there is lots of broken glass bottle pieces,

 so have to take care walk without shoes.[I know one group called K's Path .. i believe one day the will do their beach clean up service here.. no more expectations for the expat peoples.]. so its my kind request to the readers, please don't dispose your things after your enjoyment.. because you have to come again.. :D

Kuwait National Rally 2012-2013

Once again.. the rally season start... all my fotog mates ... friends.. get set ready for the action. two days before we had a media guidelines in car wash center at shuwaikh kuwait. it was pretty good.. but little boaring because of late night and bit longer than expected. i met there several fotographers especially my friends.. had fun with the guide lines. thanks for the crews Dana assaf and Nikolai reisch for the descriptions and the guide lines.

The guide lines explained...

 the day rally begins i got the media badge car decals and the over coat to wear for the rally coverage. i was so happy with these things.. because as a freelancer. through these the Kuwait Rally team setting us as in their team for the media. 
as usual wake up at early morning.. so much exited..!!..we four started in a single car from Salmiya. and we meet up other fotogs in rally track.. there were two rally tracks and total of six rounds. we found the track # 2 were the good one.. because that have lots of bends.. jumps.. slides... most of the fotogs like..(liked this track on the previous national and international rallies). reach in the hotspot around. 8:40.. it was too early.. but walk and check the track so got an idea for the perfect shots.

Thanks Kuwait rally team for the GPS live tracking system. working through Google earth. its fantastic. im trying this first time. through this we can see the cars coming through the track.. were we are .. and who is on track.. etc.  i am happy bcoz i just try my new filter first time..the ND 8 filter in very bright sun light ....it works well. with me..at the end.. had a bunch of shots...and return to home little early before finish the rally  because of some other appointments... hopefully be there for the next rally. with KMRC (Kuwait Motor Racing Club).

Expression of Love Photography Contest Winner Announced

ShutterXpose team is pleased to announce the winners of their 1st Photography Contest under the theme “Expression of Love“.
The winners are:

Brief Summary of the Contest

The contest was open to all residents of Kuwait. The contestant had to upload their best image based on the theme of the contest and invite their friends and folks to vote for their image. The Photo contest had a considerable good response. We received a total of 37 entries and only 25 entries were qualified and moderated based on the theme, the contest was held for a 1 month period (19th August – 19th September, 2012). The contest received a total of 3000+ votes from more than 10 countries including Kuwait. As per the rules Top 5 entries with maximum votes were selected to qualify for the Judges technical evaluation round, the last 48 hrs of the contest was quite interesting with votes swinging in favour of few participants, finally there were Ties in 3 spots which ultimately gave 8 entrants to enter the evaluation round.

The Jury (3 judge panel) members had a daunting task ahead, each jury member had to evaluate the image based on the following technical criteria :

• Does the Image suit the Theme of the contest
• Composition and
• Overall impact (Lighting, Sharpness and creativity)

The total point system was on a scale of 10, at the end of the evaluation round the total aggregate point from all the judges against each image were calculated and the final 3 winners were selected.

The 3 panel Jury members are Professional photographer who have excelled in the field of photography with couple of awards under their name. A brief summary of their portfolio would be added in my coming post soon.

Congratulation to all the participants. Taking part in such photography contest is just a stepping stone to your long cherished dream to be recognised as a photographer.

Flamingos in kuwait

Summer ends... winter will begin in weeks.... the migratory birds are back.....

I was thinking when this will happen.. have no idea about the birds proper migration will start.. When?. Because Kuwait climate is not as a fixed one... can change at any time... but anyway... me and my friends does not find any other schedule for the Friday mornings , so we decided to find the birds on costal area.

the first week we 4 people went to sulaibikath natural reserve area to find birds... WOW..!!... they are arrived... but no too much.. few of them. and because of low tide that day.. the birds are very far... around 1 km to the sea.. so that we dint shoot there... even my friends 400 MM is not enough...

then we decided to move another place.. then we reach at the beach side of Sabah maternity hospital.. its a gr8 place to shoot birds.. but should compensate with the tide levels.. so.. that day we shoot the birds .. but in the frame its came like ants...

the second week.. we planned another trip to the Kuwait free trade zone area. the sea is very close to the road.. so it will help to shoot the birds with out fearing them. thank god.. there we met a bunch of flamingos.... and local birds..... What a fantastic view was that... shoot several flamingos. In action...
