Silent Valley (kerala, India)

After another long ride in kuwait, got a chance to visit Kerala (Gods own country) actually it was a marathon trip. but still decided to visit some places i dint cover.
Silent valley. its a hill station.it is located in the Nilgiri Hills, Palakkad District in Kerala, South India. The area in this national park was historically explored in 1847 by the botanist Robert Wight. (Core zone: 236.74 square kilometres).
Route map
me and my wife wake up early for the ride and reached there around 8:00 AM in the morning. Sadly, knew the entry to the park is restricted and need pre-booking to enter.  locals says that. no need to stay more there because the forest guard will not allow non booking personnel to enter. thank GOD and one school group they booked and ready to go inside the forest i just check with them, they say i can accompany with them because two seats are empty with them. private vehicles are not allowed to enter. only forest jeeps are allowed.

The road through the forest is very hard and rocky but our experienced jeep driver made him climb in good way. around 22 Km rocky road to reach the view point.

The monument at the highest peek near view point

Forest -- always beautiful
Butterfly ..  i met a group of 100s inside the forest

The way back
actually it is not a good place for normal people who like enjoyment and eye catching things.
It is a real forest and this place only for who love forest ride , nature lovers and trekking.
